We offer a variety of community engagment programs from the Lil' explorers for our youngest learners to our seminar series for our active adults.

Scavenger Hunt

This activity is fun for all ages. Each month we will put out a scavenger hunt on one of the trails near the Lussier Family Heritage Center. You can participate in the scavenger hunt challenge by finding all 10 of the signs along the trail and completing the challenge listed below. You can win a prize by emailing your completed challenge to:

Lil' Explorers

This program is perfect for kids 8 & under. This program typically runs once a month from April - October. Each program is free and features a craft, scavenger hunt, nature walk, or a hands-on activity. All events are listed on our upcoming events calendar. . 

Conservation Corner

Join Dane County Park staff, partner organizations, and experts for our Conservation Corner video series. Topics include: habitat restoration, birding, prescribed burning, volunteerism, what's blooming, Dane County Parks history, tree care and more. Find the videos on our Facebook or YouTube pages.
