In the Park
- Visit our Prairie Learning Center and take a walk on the Interpretive Trail around the Heritage Center
- Play I Spy in the Park, what animals can you find?
- Explore Dane County Parks and complete our Explore BINGO challenge!
- Are you a birder or have you wanted to try birding? Use our Birding BINGO card and and see what species you can discover!
- Do you like flowers? See if you can find all of the spring blooms and complete our Blooming BINGO. A great resource for what's in bloom can be found on the WI State Herbarium website.
At Home
- Learn about Decomposers! (materials from Experience Learning)
- Discover Wisconsin animals with the Wisconsin Wildlife Hunt
- Go for a Nature Hunt in your neighborhood or backyard
- Conservation Corner: join park staff, partner organizations, and experts for our Conservation Corner video series. Topics include: habitat restoration, birding, prescribed burning, volunteerism, what's blooming, Dane County Parks history, tree care and more. Find the videos on our Facebook or YouTube pages.
