1. How many people can the Heritage Room (Main Level) accommodate for a wedding?

The Heritage Room can very comfortably accommodate approximately up to 160 guests, in addition to a dance floor, DJ table, etc. Each wedding is different; so additional factors do play a role in deciding final capacity.

2. Can we have sparklers or fireworks at our event?

Per our local fire code, we are not able to allow any sparklers or fireworks at this time.

3. When can we set up our wedding decor? What time is tear down?

We typically reserve wedding spaces early in the day to give vendors ample time to set up. Space reservations are until 12 am.

4. How much does it cost to rent the Heritage Room (Main Level)?

5. What is included in the rental?

In addition to the space itself:

  • Heritage Room rental includes all tables, chairs, reception area with a stone fireplace and a walk-out deck overlooking prairies and with a view of the Madison skyline;
  • LePine Room rental includes all tables, chairs and a walk-out patio with picnic tables and nearby trails through the prairies.

6. Can I bring in food and beverage for my wedding?

We have a preferred caterer list but you may use any caterer of your choice after they are approved by the center manager.

7. Do you have vendors that we are required to use?

We do not require you to use specific vendors. With that being said, we are happy to provide you with a list of vendors we work very closely with that provide us with exceptional service each and every time.

8. Wedding Planners…do I need one?

We welcome the opportunity to work with all vendors, including wedding planners. If you choose not to use a wedding planner, our expert wedding team has years of experience planning weddings and events of all sizes, and will be able to guide you through the planning process.

9. Can I host my ceremony at The Lussier Family Heritage Center?

We would love for you to host your ceremony with us! We have different indoor and outdoor spaces available for use. Please inquire with Center Manager for additional information.

11. Do you have a list of nearby lodging and other accommodations?

Yes we will provide you with a list of nearby hotels and camping information within our property.

2. How far in advance should I book?

Our spaces fill quickly. Please contact us to reserve your space as soon as possible, up to a year in advance of your scheduled event.  Please view our online Availability Calendar.

3. What is the charge for a private room rental?

Our event venues vary in rental price depending on the date and time.  Please visit our Pricing webpage or call (608) 224-3604 for rates.

4. Can I bring my own food and beverage to the private room?

We do not allow pot luck on site, we will provide you with a list of area caterers and restaurants that deliver to our center.

6. Do you provide an audiovisual (AV) system?

The Heritage Room (Main Level) has state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and skilled in-house technicians to ensure your meetings and presentations are executed flawlessly. The LePine Room (Lower Level) provides an AV cart and screen for your AV equipment.

7. Where can I find information on things to do in Madison?

The Madison area is full of arts and entertainment, delicious dining options and many other exciting things to keep your group busy. The Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau provides additional ideas on activities around the city.

8. How many people can the Heritage Room (Main Level) accommodate for a meeting?

The Heritage Room can very comfortably accommodate approximately up to 98 attendees, depending on which room configuration you would like.

9. What is included in the rental?

In addition to the space itself:

  • Heritage Room rental includes all tables, chairs, reception area with a stone fireplace and a walk-out deck overlooking prairies and with a view of the Madison skyline;
  • LePine Room rental includes all tables, chairs and a walk-out patio with picnic tables and nearby trails through the prairies.

10. Do you have vendors that we are required to use?

We do not require you to use specific vendors. With that being said, we are happy to provide you with a list of vendors we work very closely with that provide us with exceptional service each and every time.

Yes, we can provide you with a list of nearby hotels and restaurants in the area and downtown Madison.

12. Do you provide beverage service for meetings?

We have a coffee service that we can provide for your guests as well as vending with soft drinks and water at the center.
